We recently had the opportunity to shoot with award winning director and photographer Oliver Prout of oliverprout.com, who brought with him a lovely Wista 5x4 large format camera.
Now underwater photography outside of a studio is a complicated business at the best of times, let alone when you throw the complexities of a large format camera into the mix. As such large format underwater photography examples are few and far between.
To our knowledge this is the first example of colour large format underwater images to be shot - ever (if you know of others please let us know! We'd love to see them). If this is the case then Oli and his incredible team may well have made history!
