Booking Terms & Conditions
By proceeding with a booking and paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms.
1. Booking Model
TankSpace operates on a time reservation model.
Bookings secure exclusive access to the studio and/or scheduled photography services for the agreed time period.
Once a booking is confirmed, that time is removed from public availability and cannot be resold.
For this reason, deposits and payments made toward bookings are non-refundable, as they reserve studio time, staff, and resources for your session.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit payment has been received.
Dates and studio time are not held without a deposit and may be released to other clients.
3. Minimum Booking Times
Weekend bookings (Saturday and Sunday) require a minimum booking of 4 hours.
Shorter bookings may be available midweek (Monday–Friday) depending on availability.
TankSpace reserves the right to decline bookings that do not meet minimum booking requirements.
4. Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to secure weekend bookings.
Deposits are strictly non-refundable as they reserve studio time that cannot be offered to other clients.
Payment of a deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
5. Payment Schedule
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule stated on the invoice.
Failure to meet agreed payment dates may result in cancellation of the booking.
6. Late Payments
Payments must be made by the dates stated on the invoice.
If payments become overdue without prior communication, TankSpace reserves the right to:
• cancel the booking
• retain any deposits paid
• refuse rescheduling
• release the booking date to other clients
If a client contacts TankSpace before a payment becomes overdue, reasonable flexibility may be offered at the studio’s discretion.
However, extended non-payment or failure to communicate may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
7. Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
If a client cancels their booking, the deposit will be retained.
Additional payments made may also become non-refundable depending on how close the cancellation occurs to the booking date.
8. Ticketed Events
Tickets purchased for TankSpace-hosted events, workshops, open shoots, or ticketed sessions are non-refundable once purchased.
If a ticket holder is unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another attendee with prior notice to TankSpace, subject to event capacity and approval.
TankSpace reserves the right to amend event schedules, instructors, or event structure where necessary.
9. Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests may be considered at TankSpace’s discretion up to 72 hours before the start of the original booking.
Rescheduling is not guaranteed, particularly for short-notice changes under that time limit.
10. No-Shows
Failure to attend a booked session will result in the full loss of the booking and any payments made.
No refunds or rescheduling will be offered in this case.
11. Studio Time & Overtime
Studio time includes setup and pack-down within the booked hours.
If a shoot runs beyond the booked time, additional studio time will be charged at the standard overtime rate (£100 per hour) and must be paid before leaving the studio.
12. Attendees & Group Responsibility
The booking client is responsible for all individuals attending their booking, including photographers, models, assistants, and guests.
All attendees must follow TankSpace studio rules and safety instructions.
TankSpace reserves the right to limit the number of people present during a booking and may refuse entry to additional attendees if safety limits are exceeded.
13. Water & Wet Set Safety
TankSpace includes water-based and wet shooting environments.
All participants enter and use the tank, rain set, or wet studio areas at their own risk.
Clients must ensure all participants are physically capable of safely working in wet environments and follow all safety instructions provided by studio staff.
TankSpace reserves the right to stop or modify a shoot immediately if safety instructions are not followed.
14. Clothing, Props & Equipment
TankSpace is not responsible for damage to clothing, props, cameras, lighting, or other personal equipment caused by water, moisture, or the wet studio environment.
Clients are responsible for ensuring their equipment is appropriately protected for use in wet environments.
15. Damage & Equipment Responsibility
The booking client is responsible for any damage caused to studio equipment, sets, or facilities by themselves or anyone attending their booking.
Costs for repair, replacement, or additional cleaning may be charged where necessary.
16. Photography Team & Creative Personnel
Where bookings include TankSpace photographers, models, or other creative personnel, TankSpace will make every reasonable effort to provide the agreed team for the session.
If a photographer, model, or team member becomes unavailable due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, TankSpace reserves the right to provide a suitable replacement where possible.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund, provided the booking can still reasonably proceed.
Creative interpretation and artistic style are subjective and not grounds for refund.
17. Studio Conduct
All clients and participants must follow TankSpace safety rules and studio instructions at all times.
TankSpace reserves the right to stop a shoot or remove individuals from the studio if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.
18. Force Majeure
TankSpace will not be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to power outages, extreme weather, building issues, or emergencies.
In such cases, bookings will be rescheduled where possible.
19. Payment Disputes
By making a payment or deposit, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions prior to payment.
Clients agree to contact TankSpace directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their bank or payment provider.
20. Agreement
Submitting payment or paying a deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and forms a binding agreement between TankSpace and the booking client.
